Understanding E-Signatures

Electronic signatures are legally binding in the EU under the eIDAS regulation. Agrello supports multiple signature types to meet your needs.

Signature Types

Qualified Electronic Signatures (QES) The highest level of e-signature, equivalent to a handwritten signature. Available via Smart-ID, Mobile-ID, and national eID cards.

Advanced Electronic Signatures (AdES) Uniquely linked to the signatory and capable of identifying them. Provides strong legal standing.

Simple Electronic Signatures Basic e-signatures suitable for internal documents and lower-risk agreements.

  • Smart-ID - Mobile app-based authentication
  • Mobile-ID - SIM-based authentication
  • ID Cards - National eID card readers
  • Email verification - For simple signatures
