Agrello is now officially ISO 27001 certified

Agrello is now officially certified to the international information security standard ISO/IEC 27001:2022. The certification covers both the Agrello SaaS product and the operational processes that support its operation.

This is an important milestone for us. However, ISO 27001 is not simply a new badge on our website or a certificate to show clients. Security has been one of Agrello’s core principles from the beginning.

Our platform is used to manage contracts belonging to people and businesses. These documents may contain personal data, trade secrets, salary information, financial details and other information whose confidentiality is critical to organisations.

What does ISO 27001 mean?

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is an international standard for information security management systems. It helps organisations identify information security risks systematically, implement appropriate controls and continuously improve their processes.

To receive the certification, Agrello’s information security management system was independently audited. The certification scope includes our SaaS product and the operational processes that support it.

This means information security at Agrello is not a separate technical concern. It is part of how we build the product, organise our work and handle client data.

What does this mean for clients?

Agrello clients use the platform to create, sign and manage contracts. Security must therefore cover the entire contract lifecycle — from preparing a document to signing, storing and managing it.

ISO 27001 certification supports a systematic approach to:

• assessing information security risks;
• managing access and user permissions;
• incorporating security into product development;
• defining clear responsibilities and processes;
• preparing to respond to potential security incidents;
• reviewing and improving processes regularly.

For clients, this means greater confidence. When using Agrello, contracts are entrusted not simply to an online tool, but to a system whose information security principles and processes have been independently assessed.

Certification is a milestone, not an endpoint

Information security is not a one-time project. Even after certification, risks must be assessed continuously, processes updated and security developments monitored.

ISO 27001 gives Agrello a structured framework for doing this work consistently. Our goal is not only to meet today’s requirements, but to build the product and company in a way that supports client trust in the future as well.

The Agrello ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certificate was issued by BM Certification SIA. The certificate number is MSC-27-1609 and it is valid until 13 September 2029.
